Ulster Architectural Heritage Society (UAHS)

The UAHS promotes the appreciation and enjoyment of architecture, from the prehistoric to the present, in the nine counties of Ulster, and to encourage its preservation and conservation.

The society publishes books on buildings in Ulster. The `Buildings at Risk` catalogues, the `Directory of Traditional Building Skills` and the `Directory of Funds for Historic Buildings Northern Ireland` are the result of a collaboration with the Environment and Heritage Service Northern Ireland. They monitor planning applications, campaign for increased protection for our built heritage and developed an education programme for Key Stage 2.
